If you haven’t seen Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas, do yourself a favor and watch it this Christmas. It’s a classic.

Posting will be light (or nonexistent) over the next few weeks as my husband and I once again travel to The Cleve for the holidays. Yesterday I ran 9 minutes, walked 2, ran 8, and it was warm enough to do it outside. It gets tough to run around the YMCA’s indoor track as the distances get longer because I feel like a hamster in a wheel. One mile takes nine laps!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Bonus Jug Band action after the jump!
Last week: Completed my 4/5 minute run intervals.
Next up: 6 minute run, 1 minute walk, x 3. » Read more: "Apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild."

I’ve got nothing new or interesting to report this week. It was pretty busy at work and at home this week – I think I’m still recovering from the long Thanksgiving weekend. This week’s routine was 3 min run/1 min walk, repeated 5 times. I’m going to try to get up to a 5 min run next week. My stretch goal* is 6 min run, 1 min walk (3 times) by next Saturday but that might be pushing it.
*I hate it when work phrases slip into my non-work vocabulary.
